The ones who feed the birds

Why do they hide

Behind a hood

Who do they hide for

Are they afraid

That someone will see

Humanity can be given

To other creatures

Are they afraid someone

Who will recognize them

Or is that the problem

No one knows them.

Better to hide the loneliness

Have they given up

Searching

Searching for human contact

Birds are better friends
